I do not recall whether I've already reviewed these-- I know I did the cheese straws but before I had tried these. The Virginia Shortbread Buttons are exceptional (as are the cheese straws). They are lighter in texture than traditional shortbread cookies but a great texture, a bit more crisp and less dense, and wonderfully flavored. I'm going to call this a "perfect update" to a classic. Another go-to as far as I'm concerned.

I've been a Savannah Grace cheese straw fan for years. Just tried these shortbread buttons. BEST POSSIBLE. They are lighter than typical shortbread, just as or more favorable, and the texture is perfect. Nailed.
